So What is Digital Painting?

It all begins with an idea. Maybe I want to start with a specific image I have in mind - like a sketchbook drawing I want to expand upon (Tina’s cottage). Maybe I want to just play with colour or composition (Time Warp). Or maybe I want to create a project on a theme, like bridges (Prince Edward Viaduct) . Whatever it is, the way I tell my story always begins with play and experimentation. The process involves my iPad and a program called Procreate. The beauty of digital is that I can make changes, undo changes, duplicate, erase, layer images together - the options are infinite.
